Do you know all of your multplication facts?

I sure hope so! This week in math we will begin the multiplication chapter. The Library of Virtual Manipulatives will help us visualize the multiplication of two numbers! Get ready to learn how to multiply two and three digits numbers by a two digit number. Here is another multiplication practice link. I will be adding some other links later. More practice.

Let's Explore Explorers

We have wrapped up our unit on Native Americans and we begun learning about explorers. It all began with Marco Polo's trip to the east. Soon, Christopher Colombus, John Cabot, Balboa, deLeon, Henry Hudson, and Jacques Cartier were soon in search of new treasures and the fastest way to get to them. The students will use these links to learn about these explorers and the routes that they took!
