Out with Measurement, in with Fractions!

We will finish the chapter on measurement on Tuesday of this week. Our next math chapter is on fractions! We will learn how to write a fraction, using parts of a whole, naming fractions, and visualizing fractions. We will learn how to find equivalent fractions. We will also learn how to find the fractional part of a number, how to change improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions, and how to add and subtract fractions.

Mrs. Madsen's Brain Pop Videos

Mrs. Madsen will use two videos from BrainPop during her social studies lessons this week. The first video that she will show is on the causes of the American Revolution. The second video that she will show is on the Declaration of Independence. Listen to the video carefully so that you can correctly answer the quiz questions.
